FUNDING FOR ADVANCED AND HIGHER LEARNING COURSES
If you are interested in one of our Advanced or Higher Learning courses but unsure how to pay the
tuition fees, funding options are available for you.
- Advanced Learner Loan.
- Higher Education Student Loan.
If you are over 19 years old and want to take an Advanced Learning course with us, you may be eligible for the Advanced Learner Loan.
The Advanced Learner Loan is valid for all accredited Level 3 courses and selected Level 4 courses. It is not valid for Higher Education courses such as HNCs, HNDs or Bachelor's degrees.
The Advanced Learner Loan is operated by the government that helps cover the cost of your tuition fees on an Advanced Learning course. It is easy to apply for and does not require any credit checks. You do not have to apply for the full amount and the loan does not become repayable until you start earning over £25,000.
Repayments start the April after you complete or withdraw from your course.
You pay back your loan (plus interest) when you finish your course and earn more than £25,000 a You can make voluntary repayments if you want to pay off your loan more quickly. Your repayments will stop if your income drops below £25,000 a year.
Your annual repayment amount will be 9% of any income you earn over £25,000.

Student Loan for Higher Education courses are available for our HNDs and full university degrees. These loans will cover the cost of your tuition fees and a means-tested maintenance loan is also available to help cover your living costs. The loan does not become repayable until you start earning over £25,000 per year.

There are just 5 steps to getting your loan
Choose your course, check your eligibility and get signed up.
Choose which course you wish to apply for and complete the online application form to enrol. If you are 19 or over, a UK/EU citizen or have lived in the UK/EU for 3 years or more and applying for a level 3 or 4 course; then you are likely to be eligible for funding. All our courses can be funded by an Advanced Learner Loan.
Book your course online
Book your course online using the Forms page or alternatively you can contact us via telephone if you wish to speak to an experienced advisor. After you complete the enrolment process, we will email you a Qualification Learning and Funding Letter (QLF).
Apply for an Advanced Learner Loan
Once you receive your QLF you can use it to complete the online application on the Student Finance England (SFE) website, using the link provided on the Forms page.
Wait for SFE to approve your loan
Within a few weeks, the SFE will approve your loan (assuming all the criteria have been met) and send you a letter confirming that you can start your course. LPC will also be notified that your loan has been approved. The good news is that we let you start learning online as soon as you have applied for your loan; so, you don’t have to wait around and can start learning immediately.
Once your loan is approved you can start submitting assignments and getting feedback from your own personal and experienced assessor.
